What should I do in regard to my iPhone's screen keeps dimming?

We I have an iPhone 5s... The problem is when I have my phone and I'm watch a video or doing anything with it, dims its brightness and I don't have the auto brightness on its off it seems to do it pretty much a lot and when it does happens I have to press on my screen pretty hard to get its brightness up or its color resolution better it seems like it loses color quality... If anyone know what this is or if I should take it to an iPhone fixer or not? Please help

Make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them take a look at it.
