Word processor apps.

Does anyone know of a good simple word processor app that actually works on an iPad ? Pages doesn't seem to do what I want ( or I don't know how to do it !)
All that I want to do at the moment is to set up a letterhead that I can re-use repeatedly because that is quite a cumbersome exercise on an iPad. Then I can write a letter, print it and send by post, along with other documents ( someone is bound to ask why post !)
Every time I try to do this with Pages I bring up the address template and the letter prints on the template rather than uses the template for a fresh page ! Infuriating.... tried all sorts.

Outside of Pages there's always Microsoft Word. Functionality is somewhat limited unless you're a paid user but it's worth a try.
Another thing you could always try: Create the letterhead using a word processor on a Mac or PC and then upload it to a cloud service to access on your iPad. Pages handles Word files quite well.

Pages is actually made by Apple. You're referring to Google Docs. I don't have any experience with Google Docs but it's worth a try.
