Many people have been facing this issue for few years now. For me it comes and goes. For past couple of days, whatsapp has been stuck in "Connecting...." mode while it tried to find a 'working internet connection'. I've tried
1. Restarting my phone
2. Flipping airplane mode on/off
3. Flipping wifi on/off
4. Killing all apps including whatsapp and restarting.
Nothing seems to work. Any idea to get permanent resolution to this annoying issue?
