I-pad fault.

When I turn my I-pad on I get the apple logo but after a couple of minutes it turns itself off ! Is there anything I can do to rectify this ?

How old is it? Maybe try plugging it into a power source and turn it on. Otherwise, make an appt at the Genius Bar.

I have tri.ed plugging into power source, no difference. Don't know what "appt at Genius Bar" means.
