Why does my Apple iPhone 6 say no SIM card installed?

At least twice a day my phone will say no SIM card installed n I have to turn it off and then back on to clear it.

Do you have a SIM? If so there may be an issue with it & you'll probably need a new one from your carrier.

I would open the sim tray and remove and then re-install the sim card.
