iPhone Calendar Invitees

My husband and I both have iPhone 6s and pervious to the new phone we could add an event in our calendars and invite each other. When he sends me an invite I see it but when I send him an invite he doesn't see it on his phone and mine just says waiting for response. Help

Something as simple as a reboot may fix the issue. Of course, I'm assuming your calendars are associated with an iCloud account.

Make sure you both have Calendars toggled on in Settings >iCloud.
