Iphone 6 will not charge or show that it is charging, or turn on

used multiple charges and power sources, tried plugging it into a computer, tried a hard reset nothing has been working
My iPhone 6 ran out of battery, has been plugged into a charger for hours, different cords/outlets etc. and now the red battery that shows the iPhone needs to be charged won't show up. Help?

While connected to a wall socket using a Apple-approved charging cable, press and hold both the power and home buttons until you see the  logo. If that doesn't work, make a genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store for a resolution. I am assuming the charging cable & block as well as the wall socket are operating correctly.
