Default How do you move android based photos to iphone photos?

I switched from an Android software based phone to an Iphone 4s. The Sprint tech at the time moved all of my stored data for me. The pictures were stored in an album titled "from my computer". I want to upgrade my iphone but I can not move these photos to the camera roll or photo stream. I also own a Macbook, which when trying to import this particular album, can not find it.

I would try google photos. install it on the old phone ( on wifi) see if it will upload them.
put google photos on iPhone and log in, see if they are there.
Usually when you have a folder like that, you may have sync'd a folder named that on an old computer using iTunes.
The mac can't see it, because it didn't make it.
if the celebrite at sprint didn't move them over, you may have to rely on google photos or if the old android phone can take an SD card, you could try to export those photos to the micro SD and then use a micro SD to SD adapter and import them into Photos on the mac.

not sure what else to try there.
