Why do some songs in my itunes not play unless I'm on Wi-Fi?

I synced my music from iTunes to my iPhone 6 but many songs will not play unless I have a Wi-Fi signal.

Those particular songs may be streamed from the cloud and are not necessarily on your device.

Are they your songs you purchased? You might can download them to offline. Tap the 3 dots out to the right side, and choose to make offline. Do that with each song. Make a playlist.
