What is an exchange password and if you don't know it, how can you re-set it?

I have an Ipad and have just purchased an Ipad mini and am setting it up so that my devices are synchronised. My passwords to google/gmail etc are current, however, I keep getting a prompt in settings to enter my exchange password (which I am not aware of ever setting up) and my passwords don't work. I keep getting a prompt saying 'password incorrect' How do I fix this?

Which if these did you use? I'd suggest you delete the account off your iPhone and set it up again and ensure you choose 'Google'

The exchange password is the same email password you're trying to set up via the exchange setup in the Mail settings.
