Can I delete my yahoo email on my pad without losing my MacBook Pro yahoo account?

I am using Gmail on my iPad now, and I want to delete my Yahoo email account. If I delete the Yahoo account which is synced to my MacBook Pro, will it delete my Yahoo account on my MacBook Pro? I'm still using my Yahoo account on my MacBook Pro, and can't afford to lose it. Please help, and thank you.

If you're saying that you've configured your Yahoo account on both your iPad and your MacBook Pro, then no, deleting the account from your iPad will not cause it to be deleted from your MacBook Pro.
