will iOS 9.1 operate on iphone 4 ? ?

have a plain "4" can I install the iOS 9 ? will I gain anything ?

It is compatible for a 4S. Not the 4.

I have both iPhone 4 and 4S. iPhone 4 can only handle up to iOS 7 and iPhone 4s is upgradable up to iOS 9.2.
