Welcome to iMore! If you bought your Defender series case prior to the new version of the case that was released with the 6s Plus it is not advertised to be compatible. Otterbox made slight modifications to the new version.

The new 6s Plus is a tad bigger. So the old case would be a tad tight and may damage the phone.
