iTunes accounts using tons of data?

in cellular settings it says that iTunes accounts are using about a gigabyte of data! this has been happening only since the beginning of summer. I can't let this continue because I only have a 3 gig AT&T plan and I keep going over because of this

No idea if what you are using is right or how you would reduce it but just checked and mine is 904mb. Sure someone will help with this!

before summer it was normally like 12 mb

Are you, by chance, using Apple Music? I've noticed an increase in my iTunes account usage as well but I've always attributed it to streaming music. Looking at my usage overall that would make sense to me anyway.

I don't use Apple Music over cell data. I have no idea what's causing this

I switched back to Spotify and I suddenly have another gigabyte left at the end of the month (I was always going over on data)

so it's confirmed, it was Apple Music causing this
