Can cat hair get under my phone's screen?

My cat has long hair and sheds a lot. I'm worried cat hair will get under the screen and damage the phone somehow. Or slow it down. I know I'm being OCD about his but I can't help it. I want my phone to work perfectly.

Welcome to iMore! No worries; your phone is safe from hair. As long as your phone isn't damaged in a way that would allow a big enough gap to fit hair you'll be fine.

I have 2 dogs who shed a lot and I've also had several iPhones. No hair has ever gotten into the displays. Don't worry. Enjoy the cat and your iPhone.
