Can I use a bluetooth chest-strap pulse monitor with my Mac Mini?

Spinner bike facing 54" TV with a 2012 I7 Mac Mini in it's HTPC role. I'd like to see my pulse on the TV. Can it be done? The standards are confusing - Bluetooth LE, ANT. Or should I just mount the Iphone to the handlebars and use that?

I'm not sure how you could use Bluetooth to accomplish this. Putting the phone on the machine may be easier, yes.

For sure the IP on the HBs on the appropriate bracket to hold it.
