Why won't my iPhone 5S backup to iCloud since I upgraded to iOS 9.0.2?

I have enough space but is just keeps coming up with the error the last backup couldn't be

Had same issue.
Solution for me was;

1. Turn off iCloud backup on the phone
2. Turn off apps that are backing up to cloud
3. Restart phone
4. delete backup on phone
5. Restart phone
6. rebackup to iCloud

Worked fine after that
