why isn't my iPhone 4s getting email?

I have Consumer cellular and AT&T. My guess is I am not correctly connected to AT&T-

I don't know why your iPhone 4S is not getting email? Have you configured a valid email account with it? Are you connected to the internet either via Wi-Fi or cellular data? Is the configured account set to push, fetch or manual in regard to checking email? You can try rebooting the device or resetting the Network Settings to see if that helps if everything is set correctly.

Or try going to Settings and delete the email account, then add it back in.
