Is There Anyway Possible To Restore/Update to 8.4 From 8.1.2

My 3 thought are these.

1.I could backup maybe my Ipad which is on 8.4 jailbreak to restore/update to the other ipad which is on 8.1.2. (Not sure if that'd work.... but)

2.Somehow resign an ipsw to work with itunes to be able to update the old ipad to 8.4?

3.Use another program to install the update other than itunes.

Would any of this be possible? I know apple updates are hard to downgrade/update than android so I'm just trying to throw out suggestions hoping some would work.

Is there a way to do it; upgrade the 8.1.2 to 8.4? ~Thanks!~

Right now Apple is still signing 8.4.1 So thats your only option

But that wouldn't allow it to be jailbroken atm. The 8.1.2 is jailbroken.

We understand that, but you can only update to firmware that Apple is signing, which is either 8.4.1 or iOS 9. Neither can be jailbroken. If you want to stay jailbroken, you need to stay where you are at 8.1.x. None of your ideas in post #1 are feasible unfortunately.

It doesn't matter. Apple is no longer signing 8.4, so you cannot install that version. It's stay where you are, got to 8.4.1 or 9.0.
