No 'Recently Deleted' menu option in Photos on iMac

Hi, I'm sure it used to be there but the 'Recently Deleted' menu option in Photos has vanished!

The menu option for File offers
New Album, New Empty Album, New Smart Album, New Folder, Edit Smart Album (greyed out), Create Book, Create Card, Create Calendar, Create Slideshow, Order Prints, Import, Export, Share, Show Referenced file in Finder, Consolidate, Close, Print

I'm running OSX 10.11 & Photos 1.1

Any ideas greatfully received.

Kevin I know you asked about iMac and I am using my MBA and assume nothing would be different so I am including screenshot so you can at least see mine. I cant imagine why you would not see it unless you are looking at a different setting with Photos open and looking at what you mentioned.

I notice I dont have the Photos/Shared/Albums/Projects band across the top of the screen either

Doh! I've just noticed its in the long list of Albums, 10 down from the top - no idea why!
