Why can't I download anything from the app store?

Cant download from app store.

Hi, i cant download anything from app store, when i type my password in nothing happens and i have to type it in agian, this happens when i try to update things aswell..

Try a hard reset.
Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Do you have a device that uses Touch ID where you might have apps and app store set up for having to use your password or Touch ID for this purpose. It might have asked every 15 mins or everytime? Do you remember anything like that or check in settings?
