Old Apple id which has been hacked can't remember password and I want it gone

I have a old apple id which is associated with a hotmail address that I can no longer remember the password for. I still get email at that address but I primarily use my Outlook.com address for outgoing. I got yet another message today that says I purchased games using that email address but I didn't. I want to remove that address. I don't want a new password unless I absolutely have to. Anyone that can help it would be appreciated.

If you still get email from it you should start with resetting hotmail password. Then deal with apple id. Cheers.
