Why don't my uploaded photos appear on the photo stream on iPad Air 2?

I have uploaded photos onto a Mac (3 hours ago), but they do not appear on the photo stream on my iPad Air2. I have 38% battery life, I have photo stream turned on, I have photo library turned on. i have tried turning both of these off and on again. I have rebooted the iPad, I have switched the Wifi off and on again and have tried everything else that I can find in any forums. Is this a problem that anyone else is having, and can anyone help?

There could be an issue on Apple's end. Try signing out of iCloud on your iPad Air 2 and then reconfigure iCloud on it.
