iPhone 6 charging port stiff and not reliable

Hard to plug in. Almost have to force. No feeling a click when pushed in like our other. If I use the phone while it's plugged in charging it loses contact. Some cords with a shorter pin don't work. Tried cleaning but didn't want to get liquid in there. No dirt that I can see. The plug contacts seem visible. I'm guessing it's toast and needs repair while its in warranty.

"Cleaning"...try a toothpick...see if you can get any lint out...and try a couple blasts of canned air... Make sure the cables you're using are at the very least "made for i" certified if not OEM...
