Music and playlists have disappeared

When I installed the new IOS on my iPhone 5s, it replaced the music app with Apple Music. I have not joined Apple Music yet. When I go to listen to albums or playlists that used to reside on my iPhone, they are gone. The only songs that show up are ones that I purchased on iTunes over the years.

Restore from a backup that may contain the playlists, etc.
