Why can't my iPad Air 2 use lan on games?

My iPad air 2 can't use lan on games

I can't play games on lan my friends even my friends with iPad air can use lan with my friends but I can't any reasons why I have iPad air 2 I tried restart iPad restart modem my modem is VDSL new modem got it this year
