Can you clear out all of your memory?

I

iMore Question

Hi! I'm using an iPhone 6 right now, and I like to change things a lot. So adding/deleting music, apps, and changing the look of things constantly. I wondered, though, if all of that takes more and more memory up on the iPhone, even when you delete things. So if I add music and then delete it from my phone, will it still take up some memory? If so, is the only way to clear this out to do a factory reset or is there an easier way? Thanks!

That's not memory. It's internal storage. You can make more storage by doing those things. I upload photos to cloud based apps like Box, Dropbox and OneDrive. Then delete from the camera roll. Deleting old messages help. Delete apps you don't use. Keep offline music to a minimum.
If you delete something, no, it doesn't still take storage space.
