How do I back-up my iPhone?

Getting a new phone, I want to back-up my date on the old phone using iTunes, but when I connect, the only options are "Set-Up as New" or "Restore" ...how do I back-up.

Sounds like the old phone has been reset to factory settings...

Connect the new phone to iTunes, and it should offer to restore the last backup available in iTunes or iCloud... use the newest one - then sync apps & media to the phone from iTunes/computer...
