Why am I not receiving audible text alerts from family members, but do from everyone else?

I receive the message visually but no audio notification from family members - all other text messages have audio and visual notifications

I don't know what to tell you or even understand how that's even possible, but hey, I'll take your word for it. Try rebooting your phone or notifying your wireless carrier to have them troubleshoot from their end.
