Why don't I have an audible notification with texting or iMessage?

I have no audible notification with texting or iMessage

The sound notification for text messages, iMessages or keyboard clicks is not working. I've checked the mute, checked the volume and have checked 'do not disturb', both in individual texts and in settings. What else could it be? Help!

Have you tried changing the sound for messages and see if that helps?

Take it to the nearest Apple Store and have a genius diagnose the problem.
