I cannot open web files in Safari.

I installed the Playerextrem app and when I attempt to open a webm file in a new tab I simply get the message "Download failed. Safari cannot download this file." I am simply needing the "open with" tab to appear so that I may designate Playerextreme as my preferred method for viewing.

Have you tried with VLC Player for Mac OS X?
