My iPad mini 2 gets hot when I use it. Is it normal?

I have just bought it. Also when it is charging the power adapter also gets hot. So , what's wrong?
And it has low sound . Are this events normal for iPad mini 2?

It sounds like you have a defective product, did you buy it new? If you did I would exchange it for another one.

I have an iPad mini 2, too. And no, that is not normal.

It might be the case if you are using a cover , my iPhone 6 used to heat up when charging as well, but then once I tried charging with the cover removed it was fine
