What is the simplest way to set up these devices for the same user?

iMac, iphone6, ipad air.. Only 1 user. I currently use gmail and would consider changing to apple@me if apple is easier better etc. I am looking for simplicity. I would like to sync the mail, calendar, photos and iTunes. I want to use the iphone for the messages. Thanks so much!!! Michael

The setup is almost identical on all three devices. Simply sign in on all of your devices using the exact same Apple ID and passcode. Also, it is always recommended that you use Apple's native services for better integration, however, Google services work well on those devices so if you prefer to keep what you have, simply go to the settings and configure your Google account and enable the things you want to sync, e.g., mail, contact, calendar, notes, etc.
