Why am I not getting a verification link from Apple Email?

I have been trying to setup an Apple account on my iPhone and got a pop up that said an email had been sent to me and to click on link in email to verify my password. When I open the email there is not a link to click on. I've done this several times already. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can only assume a glitch of some sort unless the link is associated with an image, and your email setting is preventing images from loading.

Thanks, yes, must have been some sort of glitch or something. About the seventh email had a link to tap on for verification. Its all good now!
