- Unplug the sync cable from your device
- Turn off your device (hold the power button down, slide to power off)
- Press and hold the Home button and plug in the sync cable. Don’t let go of the Home button until you see “Connect to iTunes”. Once that appears, let go.
- iTunes will Restore the device to factory settings.
