Why is my iPhone unable to find a Bluetooth device?

I have for the first time tried to connect using my Bluetooth.

The phone is found but the phone can't find the device.

Why would this happen?

I would of thought, if one part can be found, then the other party would be found as standard.

Please Help

Re: Bluetooth Not Finding Devices

It all depends on the other device(s)... put them in pairing mode per the device manufacturer's instructions and the iPhone should find it... then proceed with whatever the other device's instructions requires to complete pairing.

Dear kch50428

Sorry I never deleted this question, but I did find my connection.
After I detached the headphone set.

Once connected, it no longer matters if I have the headphones connected or not and I do get the choice of using the car phone or phone:yes:
