Jailbreak iPhone with restrictions?

I Bought an iphone off ebay that had 8.1.2 so i could jailbreak. Turns out it has a restriction code on it and the only way that i can get rid of it that i know is dfu mode recovery- which will force me to update.

It looks like people have had success with backup extractor tools however when I plug in the phone itunes doesn't even allow me to run a backup... It says it is restricted. There's no lock code, only restriction. How can I jailbreak with a restriction?

If "restriction code" is really Activation Lock... Unless the owner to whom the device is Activation Locked removes it from their AppleID you have yourself a lovely paperweight.
