Why does siri not respond when I ask her a question?

Siri is activated (turned on in settings) but when I ask her a question she doesn't answer. She starts scrolling examples of questions I can ask.

I can only *assume* Siri is not quite understanding what you're asking or cannot answer the questions you ask. It's also possible that Apple could be experiencing problems with Siri. I don't know. Ask it something simple like what's the temperature at your location and then see if it understands and answers.

Make sure Siri is enabled in Settings. Make sure the dictation mic is on in Settings.




In settings under Siri toggle on allow Hey Siri. Plug your phone in and say hey Siri and see if she/he responds.
