On topic - I forget to use spotlight until Ive already taken the longest route possible to achieving my goal, then I'm like wow I should've just used spotlight. I'm gonna have to spend about a week retraining myself by only using spotlight to do everything ...

That's pretty much my deal too. Since it is not visible on the home screens, I tend to forget that it is there. I'm sure it would probably be really helpful if I could just remember to use it.

I use it quite a bit! Mainly to open apps if I don't want to use Siri to do it for me. (In public due to noise)

I rarely use spotlight. If it automatically showed web searches, I would use it more frequently.

I use it all the time!! I have way too many apps & too much music to have to look for stuff. On occasion, I'll also use it for web searches & to search the App Store.

It's just as productive on a Mac, incredibly intuitive and easier to activate than on an iPhone or iPad. Just tap CMD+Spacebar, and the Spotlight Search window opens with the cursor positioned. Your hands never leave the keyboard.

Completely understand what you're saying. I swipe three screens, tap the sub folder, open the app, and then realize I could have used spotlight.
