Why does my iPad crash and return to home screen?

It is happening more frequently and I have tried Solutions on line without improvement.

You didn't specify which iPad or which OS so what I would suggest you reload the OS. Unless you've got a specific OS that you're trying to keep.

I'm assuming the crash is in regard to an app. If so, either delete the app and then reinstall it or delete the app altogether.
