Is there a way to do a Facebook like on the app instead of on the website?

When I am surfing and hit the like symbol on some websites with my iphone, i am directed to the facebook website in stead of the app.
My facebook accout is protected with 1password. So it is very annoying to retrieve the website password... i could save the pasword but then 1password doesn't make sense any more!

Is it possible that the Facebook app or the settings you've chosen need access to its website to accomplish certain tasks? As for 1Password, it does make sense to continue using it, but in this regard, I assume it's just an inconvenience, but that's not the fault of 1Password.

The Facebook app just shows what is online. When you're directed to Facebook, it always takes you to Safari and the online site. Those sites don't have access to your Facebook app.
