Stolen iPhone question
I have had miserable luck selling my iPhone 6. I 'sold' it many time on eBay with buyers not paying me. So I finally sell it and get paid. I send the phone and before it gets there I was asked to change the AppleCare warranty to the new buyer. When I looked it up in my account the warranty I thought I bought was never attached to the phone. I told the buyer to refuse it. During the return process the post office lost the phone and it wasn't insured, the buyer never asked for insurance. When I filed a claim I had to tell the post office what was in the box. I am no fool. This is in essence a shopping list for them, if they want the contents they keep and if not I get the contents back. My question is how do I make sure the phone is useless when they try and activate it?
