Why did my phone shut off with full battery, and will not back on?

my phone was working fine, i was texting , talking etc. I got in the car and drove about 1 mile got out and it would not come on. I tried turning it off, nothing.

Could be a lot of things...most of which would need to be handled professionally.

You could try holding the home and power buttons down at the same time.

If turning it off by pressing home and power buttons doesn't work then try to restore it via iTunes by putting it into DFU mode

Mine shut down at 20% yesterday and it took 30 minutes on the charger to start to register anything. I thought it was a goner. But then the Apple logo popped on.

That happened to me before. And the phone wasnt even turning on when I was pressing the power button. I got really scared, but my friend was pressing down the power button for 1-3 min and it finally started working!! Some weird code showed up, but my phone is in perfect condition! Mind you, I had the phone for only a week, and it was fully charged.
