Is it a SIM card or iOS issue if my iPhone 5 is not receiving calls?

i can make a call but there is no ring tone then somebody call me and there is no miss call message. another problem is then i text message to someone in the receiver box i type the phone number or name and i got no name.

Contact your service provider. They could be experiencing problems on their end. Regarding not seeing a name associated with a phone number, make sure the person is listed in your Contacts app.
