My speak to text microphone has disappeared. How can I get it back?

My microphone had disappeared from my keyboard on my. 4s. It happened after I did a reset. How can I get it back

Make sure you are using the default Apple keyboard. Then go to Settings > Keyboards > and verify you have Enable Dictation enabled.

Did you try what was previously suggested? Also try a hard reset. Hold the power and home button down at the same time and hold until you see the Apple screen and then let go, let your iPhone continue with the process and see if that helps. No you will not lose anything on your iPhone.
