Sined into itunes can gift songs but not purchase to my MAC computer???????

When I am signed into itunes , I have the option to gift songs, add to wish list, facebook, etc, but there is no purchase option for me to download songs to my Mac computer? Please help me as I am really tired of this issue ??????????????????????????????

So, if you go to iTunes > iTunes Store you have you option to purchase songs?
