I don't know why it sucks on your iPad. Could you be expecting it to work the way it does on a desktop or on a non-Apple product? I'm sure there are others who think Chrome is sufficient the way it is on their iPads. I don't use any third-party browsers because Safari meets my mobile browsing needs perfectly.

Works better than safari on mine.
