Why can't I receive my e-mail

I get a message that......
Mail Server "imapigmail.com is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct info in mail settings.
Still can't receive new email.

Its possible that Google is having server-related issues. Give it time to clear up if you weren't having problems with it prior to today.

Almost every time I have e-mail issues, a restart fixes the issue. . . . I'm just saying.
