My daughter deleted contacts on my old iPhone, can I restore them from iCloud backup?

I have a new iphone6, I passed my iPhone 5 to my daughter, but both phones were connected to the sam iCloud account. When she deleted contacts on the iPhone 5, they were automatically deleted in the cloud and on my iPhone 6! I am restoring my iPhone 6 from an iCloud backup with my fingers crossed. Will the iCloud backup have an earlier version of my contacts?

Yup they should restore. At the same time you need to wipe your old phone and set it up as new for your daughter so you don't have any issues again.
