How is the messaging and texting security in MS Exchange?

Messaging and texting security

I am a self-employed consultant in the defense industry. I have multiple email accounts and clients dealing with a multitude of defense industry companies. I use MS Exchange for email. Because of all the varied clients and companies, I cannot create a unique encryption protocol and/or buy an encrypted phone. I know I am not alone in this dilemma. Any thoughts?

Configure the device for VPN use.

Don't use email lol. It just sucks. It's so insecure unless you encrypt it.
